After having to jury rig the throttle cable on my ‘72 Super Beetle back to functionality when it busted on a trip from Whidbey to Bellingham, Paul got me in first thing and replaced it same day!! On a recent trip to Bellingham my 1968 Volkswagen bus broke a clutch cable. Thankfully I found HMC garage. Every other garage I called refused to help me, citing that my car was too old. HMC worked me into their schedule and got me back on the road in a timely manner. Thank you for being so Awesome!

We were quite pleased with HMC Garage.

We were a night away from beginning an extended road trip to Bellingham from SW New Mexico. The time frame was cut short by loud grumbling from the front end of our 1997 Eurovan camper which local mechanics had not been able to resolve. Knowing Bellingham has many more Eurovans than New Mexico, we made an appointment at HCM for three days later. We practically drove non-stop, nursing to get there in hopes that the shop would be as good as its recommendations. It was. They diagnosed each problem we specified and took care to complete the extensive, though not as expensive as we had feared, project in time for us to enjoy our stay with family and friends and then get safely back on the road. No further problems with front end since. We were quite pleased with HMC Garage. They even gave us a good recommendation for a mechanic much closer to home who has been just as good. Nothing Short Of Perfect

My overall experience with HMC Garage has been nothing short of perfect. While dealing with my various automotive issues, they were very respectful of existing knowledge I had on the issue, they did not try to push repairs that I said I could do on my own, and they seemed very happy with simply being my go-to in case I had any issues or questions. I had a situation too where I was unable to get my car for an extended period of time, because of my work schedule, and they called me to inform me that they typically charge a storage fee for vehicles like mine that stay for a while, but if I picked it up that day they would let it slide. This situation just goes to show that they are very patient, understanding, and caring for their customers and are not out for every penny. I am pleased with them, and definitely recommend. They will remain my go-to going forward.
